The 5 Best Times to Visit Las Vegas for Value Gamblers.
How do you like to get more value when gambling in Vegas?
Tip with the Caesar's rewards Visa – use it on straight bets with nearly can't miss odds, and it may as well be a cash back card. You get 1 for 100 points in the sportsbook app vs. 1 dollar for 200 (250?) points for slot play.
Great video and suggestions 🙌
Had a wonderful experience at Fontainebleau where the tables were $25 for BJ and as we walked through the dealer did the same and said we could ask the pitboss for $15. Dealer and Pitboss were really nice about it and my buds and I all walked out with like $25 – $50 more than we came in with. We were there waiting for a dinner reservation so it was a nice time killer. Tables were empty though so I would only try this when its slow if you're on a budget!
FWIW, Ive had the Caesars CC for about 10 years, and it has kept me at Platinum every year, therefore free parking. 2023 was the first year I actually became Platinum the traditional way.
Was just there for my birthday and used all the free stuff I could get (Ellis, Sahara, palms free play) but unfortunately didn’t win anything with the free play
What's up Pinhead do you watch yourself on your videos ha ha ha ha ha
Knowing where to gamble is important too. Cesar's is mostly for high rollers. Go to local casinos. Jerry's Nugget is a nice place. If you play at the craps table you have to stand.
I am highly unqualified. I like Las Vegas, and when i am there, i buy in at around 800 dollars per day. But i have no car, i buy in and pay for stuff only with cash, i avoid credit cards like the bubonic plague, and i only play poker. Not video poker. Just poker. The best comp i got was entry to a freeroll poker tournament, where i got first place for 500 dollars. It felt less good when i learned that the structure was all about the pay jumps, and with my playstyle i knocked plenty of players at my table from a 400 USD payout down to 200, and later, everyone got 400, and i was tryhard crushing just to get the 500 for first. Someone came up to me angry one day later after i crushed him when i could have waited out the payjump, he only calmed down when i explained that i was playing hard for the win and won the whole thing.
That was awkward. So i was playing hardball, crushing shorties out of winning 400 USD down to 200 USD, forcing a few table rebalances, and then suddenly it was over and there was no more play and everyone got 400 dollars, except for the chip leader (me) who got 500. I was crushing souls and inducing long faces when i could have folded to the win. It ended with 3 tables, and i pointlessly crushed and noobstomped my table so hard, it was embarassing. I also took home a tournament chip which i later learned is a big no no.
Better check the structure if you qualify for a freeroll. I was close to opening a bag of fistpunches there.
Points for cash advance… seems abusable
I think you should think about saying that persons that are non US citizens can't get the Credit Cards when you do speak about that.
what an amazing amount of info from an amazing amount of research. great job, Jacob!
Hey Jacob…HUGE fan. 2 questions! 1.) Do you ever meet fans when in town?! Would be sick to have a hello. 2.) Honest opinion of best Cesar’s property? I am coming next week to take advantage of my diamond status before I lose it. Currently booked at the Versailles tower but I want to be sure I have the best/nicest stay possible, without spending an exorbitant amount. Hope you see this!
6:08 my question is how long would the Pearl status stands ?
is it forever when you keep using the card or it would expires after an year of use ??
I've always wanted to go to Vegas. Just KIDDING!@
That was a weird ending.
Wrestlemania falls on my birthday this year. So we’ll be coming in on Monday instead. Do the casinos still offer these birthday perks the week of your birthday??
“ I am Jacob and this is my life in Vegas “ 😢
Oh cool so if you own cards all these casinos and it's your bday, you can go from casino to casino getting in on bday benefits. That's cool! Thanks Jacob!
I find Vegas to be bad place to go during colder months. During pool season, you can eat a buffet breakfast and chill all day at the pool. During the colder months, there's not much to do except spending time in the casino.
Was this sponsored by the credit card companies?
All these strip casinos are going the wrong way. Imagine if a rewards program still gave you a free buffet for any win over 100$ ? Or free show tickets upon check in . EVERYONE would wanna play there . Or a free room for over 5000$ spent . We need to go back to this
Free parking as a perk is a joke. Giving you something that until recently was free is crazy.
You should have explained in rather than say "requires spending thousands of dollars"
Feb 16 is getting closer. First timer here, learned what i know from birthday boy…
Caesar’s credit card has terrible customer service if something goes wrong
I'm heading to Vegas next month.
Any pointers on getting to Gold Status for MGM in 2025?
I always go in the summer when the pools are open. I hit the pool at 9am swim and lay around till 1-2 eat lunch shower and don’t hit the casino floor till around 4-5. Definitely saves me money.
What happened to the money growth project channel?
"only" 7500???
Always enjoy your helpful tips Jacob😎👋
You did not mention the Boyd Group's B-connected slot card program. How does it compare to the other programs? I understand that hotel room comps, dining food credits, and even free slot play are available. Also you can use your bonus points to purchase food, gifts, hotel stays, etc.
I thank you for this. I booked a room last month for Flamingo June 29-July 5th. I saw earlier this week that Caesars will no longer match my Wyndham Diamond, so now I will be stuck with resort fees. I would love to find a way to hack the stay so my friend and I can save some money and I can gain certain rewards that will benefit me in the future. My problem is I am only usually in Vegas every 3 years and in Reno every 3 years….and other than Caesars, I don't know of another rewards program shared in both cities and if there is anything I can do prior to going to help. Any ideas other than what's in this very helpful video? Thank you sir.
What about international tourists? America isn’t the only county and the world and Americans aren’t the only tourists to visit Las Vegas…
Swing and a miss here…
If I got that 50 dollar dining credit I would have been excited
Great tips! Need some hacks for CES week for 2026. 🙂
I worked in tables for over 22 yrs. If the casino is slow, All you need to do is just asked respectfully. 100% of the time we'll lower the limits.
Happy Birthday dude!
