  1. I've only been to Vegas once and dont have the money to frequent the strip all that much. I will definitely stay at some of the Cesar's hotels just because they have mini fridges available in their rooms. Thank you for the work you put on making this highly informative video.

  2. I'm very nostalgic for the MGM properties in the south because we stayed at the Excalibur almost every year as a teenager and I always enjoyed walking through those properties and going to the arcades in MGM, Excalibur, and NY NY. We also go to Biloxi a lot and their property there, The Beau Rivage, is such a nice hotel compared to the Ceasar's property there, Harrah's.

We just got back from staying at Paris and my experience there and the other Ceasar properties were much more enjoyable compared to the MGM ones. My favorite places to gamble on the strip are also Paris and Horseshoe. Either way I think they're both pretty good for Vegas but I'll slightly prefer MGM because of Biloxi and the Beau Rivage

  3. The only decent place that Caesars holds nowadays is the Palace. Overall, to me Caesars provides more options for relatively affordable stays, but they are all boring due to lack of entertainment. On the other hand, MGM always has great comps. The pools are better at MGM too, hands down.

  4. Damn, I rarely finish an entire video from beginning to end on YT

This was most informative, and the extensive details shows with your months of research.

Great video, appreciate your work Jacob.

  5. A lot MGM fans on here. Their properties are not any better. I rarely gamble in MGM casinos. I like Caesars, and they treated me well with comp. I have an MGM credit card on top of players card and rarely get anything.

  6. I will always go with Caesars when on the strip. I have been able to do 5-6 night stays on the strip for $250-550max because they will comp my room or their sales (keep in mind I'm a Gold member which is the lowest). I tend to find a lot of good value restaurants if I want to eat within or near their properties (ie. like some of the places inside the promenade), and generally have great service there.

On the entertainment side of things, MGM just has more options – whether it's the Garden, House of Blues inside of Mandalay Bay, Luxor with its' shows and attractions, NYNY with the coaster+arcade, Venetian with the shopping, Cosmo with it's entertainment, etc. Food options and comps are good with something like MyVegas, but otherwise not worth it.

To quote the former mayor of Las Vegas and lawyer for the Mob, "MGM are the biggest crooks in the Vegas Area."

  7. So far I'm pretty happy with the rewards I've gotten from the MyVegas Slots app. I've gotten a complimentary room at Park MGM, a free ride on the Coaster at NYNY, BOGO deals on drinks and food, and free game play at NYNY. My MGM Rewards account though isn't as rewarding… it would take me probably a couple of decades to get to the next level (I dont go to LV that often and dont spend that much at the casinos). Great video (and ring announcer!)… thanks for the great info.

  8. I went to MGM last week and then the following week I already got upgraded to the next level didn’t spend a lot of money maybe time on machine…I was shocked that was the quickest upgraded even quicker than Pechanga but a couple days after I got upgraded at Pechanga coincidence? I hadn’t been there in 2-3 months

  9. Bellagio majority belongs to Blackstone and not REIT Realty. REIT Realty Income owns all the MGM resorts international. There go years before Bellagio belongs to MGM Resort international. The same goes for Cosmopolitan. But as long Blackstone Real Estate Income owns these resorts, I can't see how much it has to do with MGM Resort International.

  10. I’m MGM all the way! I do have their credit card😬 but it keeps me at Pearl . And I just booked a room with no resort fees plus 100 in FP and 150 resort credit. 😊btw I only have like 2500 in points lol I feel like I won already lol
