There's another city with casino's In colorado called Cripple Creek.
You really need to learn how to play blackjack I could literally show you how much money you missed out on and not only that when you need to hit and stay. These hands play out the same over and over if you play by the book and not by what's gonna happen you will hardly ever win any money. If I go up and play five times I know I'm coming home a winner 4 times. I would never gamble if I lost at the rate you do, if your gonna do something you wanna be good at it. I take 100 to blackjack table all the time and cash out a little over five grand each time. I like stopping after I make a full five grand not counting my by in, all the tipping I usually tip between 4-6 hundred after I'm done. Too many minorities at the Monark that's how the Ameristar used to be. Nothing against them in general I just don't like the way they play they play by the book and they ruin the table. Plus they yell all night monkey monkey it's annoying.
If you don't split those fours and double down both she busts and had you put the extra hundred from your black jack your up another 1,000 dollars on just those two hands alone. That was such a great shoe had you played it like I do you would have easily been up five grand in one shoe.
Never split 4's ever double if anything you got what you deserved on that
I'm really surprised they are letting you film they never let you film I usually have to tell the dealer I will tip you 25 bucks if you let me take quick pictures of a huge winning hand or something really cool that happened like I had two double down and a 20 hand vs the dealers ace up that he busted suited. I had a twenty a 6-4 and ace 9. I doubled the 6-4 got a ace then doubled the ace 9 and pulled a ten. Dealer flipped over ace five spades then a 6 of spades and a 10 of spades. Had I not doubled down the ace 9 he would have had a 10 of hearts in their to break up the suited bust.
You have lost so many hands you would have won and I don't understand why you don't double down your soft 18 19 and 20's you literally leave so much money on the table you could be making. When you have to shit hands and the dealer has a 2-6 up you have to hit one of them because the dealer makes a hand . If you sit when a dealer has a ace he busts more times then he makes a hand. If he has a made hand your most likely gonna lose anyways throw 10-25 dollars on the ace bust. If you get a suited ace bust 10 bucks pays you 500 dollars I have hit that too many times to count. 25 dollars is 1,250. I one time hit it back to back hands and one time I hit it playing 3 hands, that time I only had 10 dollars on each but 1,500 is a great little padding.
I would bartend from 6 pm to 2 am then I would have to clean the bar after work. I would have a couple buddies clean for me as we drank I did the register did the dishes and we would leave at 3 am and take the 45 min drive to Blackhawk. We start drinking again at 7 am play blackjack all morning until about 4 pm then I would have to drive the hour and 15 minutes home to get ready to go back to work at 6 pm. I did this 3-4 days a week in my twenties.

The lady luck and Isle was the best at one time great food good tables and better blackjack tables at a lower price when you can play five hands at 25, a hand you have a huge advantage compared to a min 125 a hand you can move it up when it gets hot…
