  1. i guess you dont know too much about business… if a property is only making $10M a year… but if they can change it and make $100M a year they will tear it down and build new.

  2. Fascism killed Vegas. I remember seeing 80s high roller nips, sand regins, and others that flew in to double their money. Now people are looking for stuffed animal games and fake poker tournaments risking no money. All the muds gave up gambling because of Fascism and the risk of ICE knocking on your door. It's over, put up new solar generating field and call it good. Cesar's Palace needs to go too.

  3. Who am I just an average guy I live in Southern California. Why am I wasting my time? I don’t know. Maybe I’m bored. I can be in Las Vegas in three hours and 45 minutes by car that includes going to the bathroom at Zzyzx Road just before Baker I bet sports and occasionally play video poker no table games that’s it. I’m not a big better but if you add up all my bets that I make in a day if I’m in the mood sometimes I bet $2000 or $3000 a day in 2025. I think I went to Vegas at least 15 times out of those 15 times I think I won 12 times did I win a lot of money no but a win a win I take my biggest win two times. I won almost $4000 stay at New Orleans. It’s cheap. The place is a dump. The rooms are old. The people that work. There are fucking rude. The people that work in the sports book are the biggest fucking assholes in the world, but I don’t go there to make friends I go there to win I don’t go anywhere else. I drive there valet park my car and I never leavewhether I’m there for three days five days whatever I stay there Las Vegas is completely overbuilt too much traffic and it’s basically a shit hole. I think I’m gonna take a break in 2026 cause I’m sick of it but even though that I win and I do, I hate the fucking place. Have a nice day.😢😢😢😢

  4. I been coming since the 1970's. After 2008 this place changed for the worse and has been getting worser ever since. For example. I remember the casinos used to have cars you can win, I don't see that anymore and the buffets were a value, now it's all these celebrity owned expensive restaurants. The nights clubs, I used to be able to walk down the strip and go to 5 different nights clubs from 9pm to 7 am, now they are over priced and inside casinos which have these very long lines to get in and are open 10pm to 4 am hours, not a good deal for $150. There are some good afterhours clubs off the strip that start at 2am, EDM music till 9am and good price too. Then the slot machines are all these digital 5 line bet penny machines that end up costing you $40 in 5 minutes. If you go to casinos off the strip, like South Point, that is a good place, has a buffet and decent slot machines, I am just not a fan of the digital 5 line betting machines, I like the old 3 quarter one line betting slot machines. The wheel of fortune slot is my fav, I do miss the old Elvis slot machine, that was cool, it played an Elvis music video if you hit the spin. South Point has a cool rodeo show and some other shows and a nice movie theater too. So it's mainly the strip casinos that are the tourist trap these days. Some off the strip casinos have 24 hour deals sometimes. My mom for Christmas was was looking at the Tuscany Casino website in the first week of December. She found a deal for 7 day stay that cost $24 dollars a night. She called the casino to verify the cost and it was verified. When she went to check the website the next day the rooms were up to $200 a night for Christmas week. So there are good places to go, just not "the Strip" or Fremont Street. Although, Circus Circus was cool, they had rooms for $50 a night xmas week and it was packed, we took a trip there. Only problem is they shut down their restaurants at around 4pm, so no late night dinner and buffet is only open on weekends, other then that it was fun to go there. Oh, and the paid parking, another problem. Tuscany Casino doesn't have paid parking but you do need a permit, 5 day for free is what I got.

  5. When the mob ran Las Vegas, the perks were good (buffets, free parking, inexpensive hotel rooms) and the casinos made lots of money. The perks are gone, and the casinos are going bankrupt.

  6. I will never go back.. can never win. Prices are out of control. I remember the days when you used to get a free meal. If you went into the casino now they charge an arm and a leg corporate greed is what is destroying Vegas?.. and smelling pot every 5 ft is something I just can't tolerate. Skunk

  7. I LOVE VEGAS FOR THE LAST 60 YEAR S I AVREGE TO VISIT VEGAS EVREY MONTH FROM L.A ,,I only play POKER MACHAIN and never paid A PENNY in all the casinos and I was doing good ,till the last 5 years they lower the % of return on your money…and now I love vegas I go my be twice A year…and they keep calling me..

  8. I'm an old timer with a lot of really fond memories everything I had is everything I did everything I wanted everything I lost in Vegas OF COURSE THE OLIGARCHY I HAVE NO IDEA OF HISTORY BECAUSE THEIR AGE IS SO YOUNG WHEN THEY DON'T POOPING IN THEIR DIAPERS MOMMY CAN I HAVE ANOTHER ONE… AND IT CAN BE DONE WHAT IS A LITTLE EFFORT A LITTLE MUSCLE TO BE SPENT AT THE RIGHT TIME AT THE RIGHT PLACE FOR ALL THE RIGHT REASONS. .

  9. I'll never forget the swimming at Tropicana, swim-up blackjack tables, great music and sunshine. Absolutely nothing that made us count our change to play a game. Every worker was happy, memory photos lined the walls, the Rat Pack, movie stars, it was so fun to walk in from the pool, sunburnt and glancing or stopping at these photos. Then off to listen to great bands, gamble all night with plenty of wins, plenty of dinner choices, again, without having to count money. It is so sad that our younger generations will never know "Sin City" as it once was. Travesty. Corruption at its finest.

  10. Suits losing money? Can't think of any more pompous 🫏s that deserves it more

Hey! Maybe the Chicago outfit will find partners to move a place, not too far from Las Vegas where gambling can flourish, sports book that cover any bet, booze servings that are honest – no short pours filled with ice.

The bartenders and cocktail waitresses know your name.

    Keep the unions out.

  11. The strip used to be lively, but the last time I was there in February 2025 it was like a third of the strip was dead and unsafe! Store closures one after the other and you have to walk through several casinos to cross the street! Won’t be going to the strip again!
